EARYLYBIRD Registration INCENTIVE: FREE STREAMING MEDIA THROUGH JUNE 2009!

 

California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) Region 2 is pleased to announce our 2009 Summer Technology Leadership Conference: "Tri"-Smarter: Making the Most of What You Have!  

The 9th Annual STLC is a two-day event showcasing exemplary classroom teachers and tested curriculum and instructional strategies. All teacher-presenters introduce dynamic uses of instructional technologies while providing you direct access to the equipment and software. These hands-on sessions provide you the skills, strategies, and resources needed to more effectively integrate technology in your classrooms and improve student learning.

 

The "Tri"-Smarter theme focuses on:

 

  • Maximizing use of your existing tools and resources

     

  • Obtaining and working with FREE resources, software, and follow-up support

     

  • Learning new strategies to enhance teaching and learning

     

  • Developing activities and projects that enhance student motivation

     

  • Networking and building professional relationships with other educators

Place: California State University, Chico

Date: July 29-30, 2009

Time: Day 1 sessions run from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Day 2 sessions run from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Cost: $105 per teacher- 60% discount from previous STLCs! (You can use your EETT Grant dollars, and K-12 Education Technology Vouchers (ask your district technology coordinator).

Cost includes all sessions, parking, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and beverages on Day 2.
